Sara has experience across public affairs, political, and advocacy campaigns, with a background in strategic communications, fundraising, grassroots organizing, and campaign operations.
Prior to joining Callahan, Sara worked with The Outreach Team, supporting voter outreach and fundraising efforts for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest and the Yes on Proposition 50 campaign. She helped manage field operations, staff training, and canvassing programs across San Diego County.
Sara began her career at TeamCivX, first as a fellow and later as a consultant, where she supported ballot measures and public affairs campaigns across California through messaging, communications strategy, and digital outreach. She also worked with Cruz Strategies on advocacy and public affairs campaigns, supporting grassroots outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts.
Passionate about communications and relationship-building, Sara enjoys work that brings together strategy, advocacy, and community impact. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and going to concerts.
Sara graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History.
