Lena Carmona

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Lena Carmona is a Senior Account Executive with Callahan Public Affairs, where she focuses on grassroots outreach, coalition management, press support and social media. Lena also works on materials development, web site management, and event support.

Prior to joining Callahan Public Affairs, Lena worked in the California Assembly Speaker’s Press Office where she assisted with press events, fielded press calls and inquiries, monitored media coverage, handled media credentialing and worked on other special projects for the Speaker’s staff.

Lena also has regulatory and policy experience with the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition, where she participated in policy and regulatory hearings, tracked and monitored legislation relevant to the industry, and drafted position letters.

Lena got her start in public affairs at Bicker, Castillo & Fairbanks where she focused on coalition-building and grassroots advocacy on statewide ballot initiatives and issue advocacy campaigns.

Lena graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science.
